Basic Will

Our most straightforward legally binding Will service for individuals and families.

Single - £175 + VAT
Mirror - £260 + VAT

What's included?

• Initial consultation to discuss your family, financial circumstances and wishes.
• Appointing executors to carry out the terms of your Will after your death.
• Appointing guardians for any children under 18.
• Provision for simple funeral wishes.
• A Will listing the intended beneficiaries of the whole of your estate, and any substitute beneficiaries.

What's not included?

• Tax issues including inheritance tax.
• Any cash or specific legacies to any individual or organisation.
• Advice about potential claims against your estate.
• Advice about care fees and care fee mitigation.
• Foreign assets.
• Business assets.
• Life insurance and pensions.
• Mental capacity issues.
• Trusts, including rights of occupation and property protection trusts.
• Advice about inheritance for disabled or vulnerable beneficiaries.
• Anything else not identified in the section ‘What’s included’ above.

Standard Will

Single - £285 + VAT
Mirror - £370 + VAT

What’s included?

• Everything that is included in our Basic Will service, plus:
• A Will that includes any outright gifts of money, personal belongings, or property you wish to make to particular beneficiaries.
• General inheritance tax advice.

What’s not included?

• Tax issues other than inheritance tax.
• More than five cash or specific legacies to individuals or organisations.
• A division of your residuary estate amongst more than five individuals or organisations.
• Advice about potential claims against your estate.
• Advice about care fees and care fee mitigation.
• Foreign assets.
• Business assets.
• Mental capacity issues.
• Trusts, including rights of occupation and property protection trusts.
• Advice about inheritance for disabled or vulnerable beneficiaries.
• Anything else not identified in the section ‘What’s included’ above.

Tier 2: Trust Will

These Wills can deal very effectively with a wide range of common issues including disabled or vulnerable beneficiaries, second families, and mitigate risks around care fees.

Property Protection Trust
Single - £385 + VAT

Discretionary Trust Will
Single - £545 + VAT
Mirror - £650 + VAT

Life Interest Trust Will
Single - £545 + VAT

Nil Rate Band Trust Will

• A Will that includes any specific gifts of money, personal belongings or property, either given outright or into a trust.
• A Will listing the intended beneficiaries of the rest of your estate, and any substitute beneficiaries.

Tier 3: Specialist Will

Succession planning for farmers, business owners or those with large or complex estates is vital and plays a key part in making the most of available tax reliefs, reducing the likelihood of disputes after death, and ensuring the estate can be passed on to successive generations.

Specialist Wills for Business Owners
Single / Mirror - £650 - £1,400 + VAT

Bespoke Will
We offer a bespoke hourly rate service to meet your requirements if your estate or family circumstances are complex or if you require detailed advice about matters such as lifetime gifts, inheritance tax or the possibility of a claim being made against an estate. Hourly rates vary depending on the experience of the Will drafter and range up to £295 + VAT.
