I completed my first time buying a house ever at the age of 68, this morning, in Penrith, through Arnison Heelis estate agents, who were acting for the vendor. I have been involved in the past, buying houses with my husband, but never just for me, and, as a holiday home.

It took a tad longer than usual, with Covid making the people involved ill sometimes, and all the restrictions about travel and social distancing etc but I am now the proud owner of a lovely little house with an equally lovely garden and no major problems.

It suits me well. I could not have asked for a nicer and more helpful bunch of people to show me a house and help me buy it, especially June.

Everyone went the extra mile to listen and advise, and I would recommend them to anybody without reservation. The advice I was given really helped me decide on this house and when I first went to see it, it looked even better than in the advert!! They even recommended a great solicitor as the vendor was using theirs. I viewed many houses in the Penrith area but came back to this one.

I have had Arnison Heelis Estate Agents manage the letting of my property for over sixteen years; and then the selling of the same property.

During that time, I seriously never had cause to complain or worry, as to the way they conducted the management of the property. On the contrary, they have always been extremely helpful; and I might add “going the extra mile” to accommodate any requests and wishes I may have had. Their advice was always well judged, either concerning the letting, or the selling of the property.

Although, always very professional and efficient, they were always very friendly. I no longer have need of their professional services, but I shall certainly still keep in touch.
