I have recently completed the sale of my elderly parents house in Penrith, following their move to a Care Home in Keswick. A limiting factor to the sale could have been that I live 260 miles away in Buckinghamshire. However, having appointed Arnison Heelis as estate agent for the sale, they ran the whole process on my behalf, but kept me fully informed of everything that was happening, between my visits to Penrith. Phone calls and follow up emails made sure I was fully involved in the process and decisions. The house details were accurately and attractively presented, and the video walk through of the whole property and large garden was comprehensively prepared and delivered in an interesting manner. I instructed Arnison Heelis to market a bungalow in Penrith in July 2022 and was helped in this by June and her colleagues. The process was quick and efficient and within the week the property was on the market. I particularly liked the no-nonsense video that was prepared with good commentary and no annoying music! Fortunately, this was a desirable property and three buyers made offers in the days after it went on sale.

June dealt efficiently with these and after a little to-ing and fro-ing an offer was accepted. Happily for all concerned the sale went through to completion and any minor concerns were always handled by June or one of her colleagues.

Being a small office has the advantage that whoever answers the phone knows what’s happening with the sale and issues are dealt with promptly. The team clearly know their market well and I would certainly have them at the top of my list if I had to sell in this area again.

I wanted to let you know how much of a massive help June was when it came to our move from South Tyneside to Penrith.

When dealing with delays left, right and centre from solicitors, land reg, sellers and buyers, June always made sure that everything was spot on and everything was progressing smoothly. I would say that June often went above and beyond to help us move and without her proactive work ethic I think the exchange would have dragged on for at least another month.
